Many forward-thinking retailers — many of who are our customers — are thinking outside-in. That is, the goals of the company aren’t all about profits or margins, it’s about meeting the needs of the modern shopper. These retailers have an unyielding focus on creating the best shopping experience for their customers. When they do this, they find it surprisingly easy to solve many of the underlying issues plaguing the retailing sector today (both inside their organization and out). So, please, meet Sandra, the modern shopper. All you have to do, retailer, is focus on her.
Consumers now view delivery as the critical last step in the commerce journey. And something that will only grow in the evolution toward New Retail. So, what can retailers and eCommerce companies outside the Big 3 do better? Read this to learn more!

Amazon Announces Prime 1-Day Delivery. Still Don’t Think Speed and Convenience of Delivery is Important?
The e-commerce portion of overall retail sales continues to grow and accounted for more than half of all retail sales growth in 2018. Guess who sold the most online? It should be obvious by now: Amazon. Amazon sold roughly $258.22 billion in US retail sales in 2018, which works out to roughly half of all online retail spend in the country. Is Amazon stopping to smell the roses? Heck no. In fact, they are stepping on the gas.
At Yantriks, we help retailers embrace New Retail and the headless e-commerce technology architecture to make it a reality, beginning with inventory, availability, and fulfillment capabilities. I hope you give the white paper from Chris Walton a read and learn as much as I did about how to differentiate in the next evolution of commerce.
30,000 attendees, including global retailers, industry pundits, and vendors from all over the world came to NRF 2019 to hear insights from the intersection of retail and technology. Now that the dust has settled on the main stage and I’ve had time to internalize all the incredible content and learnings, one thing is clear: It’s all about new retail’s customer experience.
Earlier this year Petco chose Yantriks to enable a key capability for today’s e-consumer: buy online pick up in-store (BOPUS). Powered by the Yantriks Personalized Fulfillment Platform (PFP), this provides Petco customers with the option to view available inventory online, purchase products from nearby stores and pick them up that same day.
We are pleased to announce the general availability of the new Yantriks Personalized Fulfillment Platform (PFP). For retailers and eTailers, the PFP unifies inventory and fulfillment capabilities of the delivery network in a single platform, while also removing data integration and scalability obstacles preventing companies from offering the personalized experiences consumers expect.
